Getting Leads-Tips - 2006/04/24 12:28 Clients are always looking for quick and easy ways to generate more leads. Here's a few:

1. Active prospecting:
Develop a small area to start. This is a good way to get your name out and brand yourself as their neighborhood expert.

-Knock on doors, introduce yourself.
-Go to your local garden shop, pick up seed packets attach your business card and leave them with something. -Become a lead generator.
-Make yourself visible in the local area, stop in and say "hi" to the shopkeepers.
-Give everyone you come into contact with your card and ask for the referral.
-Make it fun, shake their hand, give them a complement, and take an interest in them.
Make a lasting impression.

Re:Getting Leads-Tips - 2006/04/24 12:31 Passive Prospecting:
Send a jumbo post card at the end of the month that has a 30-day calendar of the next month. Place your web address on the calendar side and on the backside have a brief message that points them to your website. Instead of it going from the mailbox to the trash, it is more likely to end up on the refrigerator or their desk because it is something they can use and end up looking forward to receiving each month.

Re:Getting Leads-Tips - 2006/04/24 12:35 Website:

Take a look at who your website is geared for...
...buyers or
...sellers

If you notice you are getting more of one than another, you might want to consider updating your focus and content.
