Getting powers-to-be to understand new marketing - 2007/09/21 21:31 Today I had a conversation with a marketing director at a ski area that was frustrated at having to deal with upper management's inflexibility at trying out new marketing ideas and programs. I told her that she was not alone!

She is not alone. Almost every day we talk to marketing people that feel mis-understood or powerless to actually get things accomplished at their area. Whether it is fighting for budget money, a new program, or getting other departments to work with them.

So, what's your story? Here's the place to tell it and get ideas of how not to pull your hair out.

Re:Getting powers-to-be to understand new marketin - 2008/04/14 17:04 My frustration is caused by a "seagull co-worker". This is someone that flies in from nowhere, squawks a lot of crap on everything, and flies off.
