Event marketing - 2006/02/16 22:59 I'm in charge of events for my non-profit organization. We have a limited budget and are always looking for inexpensive ways to get our name out. Special events have been a mixed bag for us. I guess from your experience, is it better to have multiple small events throughout a year or fewer larger events?

Re:Event marketing - 2006/02/16 23:01 I always say, if you are going to do something, make sure to do it right.

Instead of trying to do too much, it's better to find out what your target prospect/customer/market wants and focus all your efforts on making sure what you do is successful.

I think it's better to have high turnout at fewer events than low turnout at multiple ones. It is also much better on the staff trying to implement. Plus, the larger and more successful the event, the more sponsors you can attract.

What they're saying...
“The VIP Program works! It's been a lifesaver to know I have somewhere to go with my marketing questions. Especially, when the radio, TV, newspaper, yellow page, and other advertising sales rep's come calling. The $49 is worth every penny and more.”
