Tools to make RSS easy. Why is this software free? Most of it is actually "Freeware". What's that? It's software that companies have decided to release for free and usually have an "open source" license.
What's open-source? Software whose source code is published and made available to the public, enabling anyone to copy, modify and redistribute the source code without paying royalties or fees. Open source code evolves through community cooperation. These communities are composed of individual programmers as well as very large companies. Some examples of open source initiatives are Linux, Apache, and Mozilla.
Is it safe? Yes. We've only posted these great tools here if we've used them first.
Can I give up paying for software now that I know about open-source? Probably not. What you tend NOT to get with open-source/freeware are manuals, support, or a "prettied up" interface. But, if it does the job and you can ask someone for help (remember that Instant Support we brag about?), then these are excellent business tools you do not want to miss.
What if I try one and don't like it? No skin off our nose. Uninstall it. They all give you that option.
What about ads and viruses? The one's we have listed here are free of both (as far as we've tested). The only thing you may find is a donation request every once in awhile from the developer. It's up to you whether or not to donate or not. If you enjoy the tool, by all means show your support.
Can I make a suggestion? Of course. We're always looking for great new tools to share with others. Just Contact Us and let us know what you'd like.
