Need a way to communicate with the so called “Gamer Generation”?

According to John Beck and Mitchell Wade in “Got Game: How the Gamer Generation is Shaping Business Forever”, there are over 90 million “Gamers” aged 34 and under who have grown up playing video games.

“Gamers” not only have different social skills, coordination (University of Rochester study found 10 hours of gameplay increases visual processing), and ambition (play to win) but also a completely different language (txt).

Gamers developed their own language called “txt”, “txtspk” or “txt talk”.  It’s a texting language developed out of a shorthand that was used in early chatrooms on the Internet.  It has since exploded in popularity with the use of cellular phones.  Text talk is where users abbreviate words to be typed quicker and with less effort.  Users abbreviate numbers for words, for example, "4" in place of the word "for", omit vowels, as in the phrase "txt msg", or replace spaces with capitalization, such as "ThisIsVeryCool".
