One Grand Prize Winner and Three Runner’s Up to Receive Marketing Budget Boost

POWELL, OH: May 25, 2007 - nxtConcepts officially announced the Grand Prize Winner of the 2007 Ski Marketing Scholarship Giveaway Contest that ended during the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) Convention and Trade Show at Palm Springs, CA.  One Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 in marketing services, and three other runner's up will receive VIP Marketing Assistant Membership's to the myMarketigGuide.com website each worth $49. 

Started in 2005 by nxtConcepts, Ltd, the Ski Marketing Scholarship program was developed to further the marketing efforts of small to mid-sized ski areas with limited resources.  For the 2007 Ski Marketing Scholarship, ski area marketers were able to enter online at http://www.skiHeroes.com or in person at the NSAA Show. 

"I am thrilled to be in a position to be able to give back to an industry that has taught me so much," said Samantha Rufo, President of nxtConcepts. "Having worked within the ski industry for almost a decade, I am intimately familiar with the struggles of marketing ski areas.  Limited resources and constant change make marketing a moving target.  However we can lend a hand to keep that target still, I'm glad to do."

    - Jay Peak Resort, VT.

    - Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, CA

The 2006 Grand Prize winner was Snow Valley Mountain Resort, CA.  Winners were randomly selected by an independent panel of judges.
