You can read everything you can get your hands on, you can
work 'round the clock, you can try every known method, but the 'bottom line' is
that there really are only 5 keys to making Technology Work for you. 1. TIMING. It has often been said that opportunity will present itself to you IF you are in the right place at the right time. That is probably true for many of us. However, opportunity also presents itself, sometimes, in other forms - in the form of a challenge or an obstacle, for example. Indeed, most of the world's greatest innovations came about as the result of someone trying to find a solution to a problem! So timing is important, and being in the right place at the right time may be equally important. But it may also be that you simply have to see a problem that needs a solution - or open your eyes to a disguised 'opportunity' that may be right in front of you. 2. VISION It follows that if you can see an opportunity right in front of you, you must also be able to see the POTENTIAL in what is being presented. In other words, you need to be able to ENVISION success. In order to set your goals to achieve success, you'll need to know what it will look like when you get there - THAT is vision!3. PLANNING If you do not know where you are going, ANY road will take you there. Without a plan, you have to work harder and can miss opportunities. It’s never too late to begin one. Make sure to set goals, assign tasks, and establish deadlines.4. ACTION Here is where the majority of the people in the world fail. They think, they plan, they sit around and talk, but they do not TAKE ACTION. Are you going to be like the rest, or are you going to go a step forward? Say no more -- DO!5. ATTITUDE New technology can be scary. Most people or companies do not believe in themselves enough to make things happen. They think that success using new technology is only reserved for big business or big budgets. Quite simply, that's not true.By knowing that you CAN and you WILL be successful, nothing can stand in your way. Keep a positive attitude, even in the face of difficulties and surround yourself with knowledgeable people. The road to success is littered with obstacles, bugs, and errors, and it is very likely that you will make some mistakes or run into unforeseen troubles. How well you 'keep your head up' is bound to determine how clearly you'll SEE ahead of you! Note: Samantha Rufo Need help implementing a new sales or marketing program? We've got two suggestions:
